FAQs

Is there going to be camping?

No, Carnival Fifty Six is a non-camping event. There will be shuttle buses running to and from the park over both days. More information to follow.

 

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes, the festival is open to everyone aged 12+. Those aged between 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 26+. Those over 26  can be responsible for a maximum of three under 18s. We advise everyone who attend the festival to bring proof of age with them, including 12-17 year olds. 12-17 year olds can use Young Scot Cards as proof of age. Young Scot cards are free, and can be applied for here: http://young.scot.

 

Is there parking onsite for the festival?

No, there will be no designated festival parking at Camperdown, apart from disabled access. However, we will have designated park and ride areas in the city.

 

What type of music will there be?

Carnival Fifty Six will have is a multi-genre event, with some music’s big names, local and up-and-coming talent, DJs and comedians.

 

I am coming from outside Dundee, where can I leave my car?

There will be park and rides specifically for the festival, or if you are staying in a hotel you can leave your car there and catch one of our shuttle buses up to the park.

 

Is there disabled access?

Yes, there will be designated on-site disabled parking and access to the festival, and disabled facilities inside the event.

 

Will there be food catered to all diets?

Yes, weare hand-picking our food vendors to ensure all diets and requirements are catered for.
